Ukrainian defenders have liberated the settlement of Andriivka in the Donetsk region
During the counteroffensive operation, Ukrainian soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade brought back under Ukrainian control the settlement of Andriivka in the east of Ukraine. The Russian garrison stationed there was surrounded, cut off from their main forces, and destroyed.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, in addition to the liberation of Andriivka in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces also had partial success in the area of Klishchiivka on the Bakhmut axis and have been consolidating their positions.
In particular, due to the Ukrainian offensive operation, Russian troops suffered substantial losses. As the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs, “the chief of the enemy’s intelligence brigade, three battalion commanders, and almost all the infantry of the 72nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army, together with officers and a significant amount of equipment [which were stationed in Andriivka – ed.] were eliminated”.
On its Telegram page, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade also noted that “capturing and holding the settlement of Andriivka is our way to a breakthrough on the right flank from Bakhmut, and the key to the success of all further offensives”.

In their turn, Russian invaders have been trying to advance in the areas of Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, and Marinka of the Donetsk region but have had no success.
In the south of Ukraine, on the Melitopol axis, Ukrainian defenders continue their offensive operation. In addition, in the area of Kherson, Ukrainian forces have been conducting counter-battery fire, destroying Russian supply depots and inflicting successful blows on the enemy’s rear.
As it became known earlier, on the night of September 13, an attack was carried out on the ship repair plant named after Ordzhonikidze in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula. As Andrii Yusov, Representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, explained, due to an attack, the large enemy landing ship “Rostov-on-Don” Project 775, as well as the “Kalibr” missile carrier submarine, received significant damage.
