Russia launched 28 missiles at Ukrainian cities, causing casualties and significant destruction
Around 4 am on August 15, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 28 air- and sea-based missiles. Ukrainian defenders have destroyed 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles.
The attack caused significant destruction and injuries in five regions of Ukraine. In Lviv, missiles damaged 40 buildings, a college, a kindergarten, and a supermarket. 15 people were injured. In the Lviv region, debris also damaged private buildings and cars.
In Lutsk, a missile hit a local enterprise. 3 people were killed, and several others were injured.In Dnipro, a missile hit a sports complex used by Ukrainian athletes to prepare for international competitions. 2 people were injured.
Russian terrorists also attacked the Cherkasy region, hitting an enterprise and a medical facility. The city of Smila has been partially left without water. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the debris damaged houses.
