Why is it not just Putin’s war?
Russian people bear responsibility for Russia’s war against Ukraine. It is worth remembering that the Russians elected their president and continued to support him during the war.
According to a sociological survey conducted by the Levada Center on May 26-31, 77% of Russians support Russia’s war against Ukraine. It is Russian people who come to Ukraine to torture civilians, kidnap local leaders, fire evacuations columns, rape Ukrainian women and children. Not just Putin.
So it is Russia’s war, not just Putin’s.
