Yurii joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in January 2023. It’s my duty, he said and told his wife Iryna everything would be okay. On March 21, he was killed by a Russian missile in the Luhansk region. Now Iryna visits his grave, lays down on a bed of red roses, cries, and talks to him while holding her arms around the soil covering his coffin.
