At night on February 27, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian “Shahed” drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 11 of 14 such drones. 9 enemy drones were shot down in the airspace of Kyiv. As a result of an attack by Iranian “Shahed” drones on Khmelnytskyi, 1 person was killed and 4 were injured. Local residential buildings were damaged. At night, explosions occurred in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. During the night’s massive missile attack on Ukraine, Russian forces hit Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles. One of the infrastructure objects was damaged, but there were no victims. Moreover, the missile strike on the island of Khortytsia was recorded, where the administration building caught fire. Artillery shelling took place in Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. 6 houses, a car, and a power line were damaged. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, 461 Ukrainian children have died, 927 children have been injured. Most victims among children are from the Donetsk region. As part of the 10th package of sanctions, the European Union imposed restrictions against the Russian Alfa Bank, Rosbank, and Tinkoff Bank. In particular, the sanctions include freezing the European assets of Russian banks, a ban on operations with these credit organizations, and disconnection of these banks from SWIFT. – Official journal of the European Union

The European Union expanded the list of individuals and institutions from Belarus subject to EU restrictive measures concerning Russian aggression against Ukraine. In particular, 21 natural and 2 legal persons were added to the sanctions list, including Belarusian enterprises LLC “Synesis” and JSC “Belarusian Potash Company”. – Official journal of the European Union
