The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct hostilities in the southwestern part of the Black Sea. The bases and ports of Odesa, Pivdennyi, Ochakiv, and Chornomorsk are being defended. Certain forces and means were transferred to the defense of the city of Kyiv. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulses enemy air strikes, conducts constant reconnaissance using UAVs, strikes on columns of occupation troops in the areas of Nova Zburivka, Kupiansk, Nova Kakhovka, and enemy landings near Hostomel airfield. Groups of the combined forces in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions restored the position on the front line in some areas as a result of the combat activities. In the area of ​​responsibility of certain units, the enemy is trying to wedge into the battle formations of our troops to the depth of platoon bases. Enemy attacked border guard unit in Zaporizhzhia region by rockets. As a result of attack there are casualties.

Kyiv mayor: According to preliminary data, three people were injured, one of them in critical condition, as a result of the wreckage of the rocket hitting a residential building on Koshytse Street, 7-A. Ambulances take people to the hospital. The building is on fire, may collapse.

According to the data of Ecocentre State Enterprise, exceedances of control gamma radiation dose rate levels were recorded in the Exclusion Zone.
Specialists of Ecocentre attribute such fluctuations to the violation of the top layer of soil due to the movement of a large number of heavy military equipment through the exclusion zone and the release of contaminated radioactive dust into the air.

Part 5 of Article 85 of the Protocol states that these violations may be considered war crimes in the event of grievous bodily harm among the civilian population.

In Donbas, the enemy keeps shelling at the Ukrainian military. Nevertheless, the occupiers have not managed to reach out of the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts;
Ukrainian army defends Kharkiv and Valuykiv, the military have managed to stop the enemy and have consolidated their position;
Air forces repel the blows of the enemy, they go on fighting and perform reconnaissance.

Units of Operational Command “North” have liquidated circa 20 units of the enemy’s tanks on the Menska direction in Chernihiv oblast. Precise losses of manpower are yet to be established. Also, a subunit of “North” has liquidated columns of the enemy’s vehicles that was moving from Ripky to Chernihiv. Aggressor’s losses amount to 10-15 units.

Operational information on the Russian invasion from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
The enemy continues with offensive operations against Ukraine in previously selected areas with the support of long-range operational and tactical aircraft and high-precision long-range weapons.
In the direction of Volyn, no active ground groups were noticed. Enemy aircraft continues to work from the territory of the Republic of Belarus along the northern part of the state border of Ukraine.
In Polissia, the occupiers continue their offensive with significant forces in the direction of the city of Kyiv.
Trying to maintain the pace of the offensive, the enemy brings the second echelon.

The latest official information from the regions of Ukraine on the state of affairs during the Russian invasion:
-Chernihiv is under the control of the Armed Forces. This was announced by the Head of the Regional State Administration Viacheslav Chaus;
-The Russian army fired missiles at the airfield in Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. This was confirmed by Mayor Mykola Melnychuk;
-Tank columns of the occupiers are moving towards Zaporizhzhia. The Head of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Starukh asked all residents to stay in the shelters;
-Soldiers of the aggressor were left without food and fuel near Konotop. According to the Armed Forces headquarters, tank crews are carrying canisters and trying to buy fuel. At least 40 units of burned enemy equipment were found on the outskirts of the city.
