At night on December 20, Ukrainian defenders shot down 18 out of 19 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 drones used by Russian troops to attack the Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kirovohrad regions. On December 19, the US government imposed sanctions on ten entities and four individuals based in Iran, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, supporting Iran’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) production. In the last 24 hours, Russian troops attacked the Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions. Ukraine has received €150 million of non-refundable financial assistance from the EU.
