4 russian warships opened heavy rocket fire on Mariupol. The city has been shelled by artillery, tanks and aviation. The russian army is purposefully destroying homes, civil infrastructure and killing thousands of people, as well as blocking evacuation and shooting at civilian vehicles.

200-500 people came out in a protest against Russian occupiers in the town of Berdyansk (Donets region). Russian soldiers fired warning shots, beat, searched and detained some people. The protest did not fully stop. The fate of the detained people is unknown. – Reports by local media (Hromadske)

Russian invading forces kidnapped the deputy mayor of Enerhodar, Ivan Samoydiuk, reports Enerhodar City Council. The town is closest to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant, taken over by russian forces. Locals have been protesting and blocking invading forces since their arrival at the NPP.
