The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02 to 12.03 were approximately: 13800 troops; 430 tanks; 1375 armored vehicles; 190 artillery systems; 70 rocket systems; 43air defense units; 84 aircraft; 108 helicopters; 819 military cars; 3 military boats; 60 fuel tanks; 11 tactical UAVs. During the night, the Russian military continued to fire on Rubizhne and Severodonetsk: 12 houses caught fire as a result of the shelling, one person died, and fires broke out in seven houses.

Russian invaders abducted six people (City Council officers and volunteers) who where in the building of the Bucha City Council and provided assistance to civilians and refugees.

TV Channel 24 (Ukrainian state media) was hacked. A running line was inserted by hackers with a fake call from the President to lay down arms. Russian troops shelled a column of civilian cars fleeing Mariupol. They used Grad heavy artillery systems. 5 people were killed, one child is in a critical state. Information is being updated.


Russian aggressors dropped a powerful bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theatre, where hundreds or thousands of people were taking shelter (mostly – women and children). On March 16 the trade pavilions caught on fire on the territory of the market in Kharkiv as a result of the shelling by the Russian occupiers. Three people were killed and five were injured.


In Chernihiv, Russian troops fired on people standing in line for bread. At least 10 people were killed. – Chernihiv local media


The mayor of Melitopol Fedorov was released from captivity by Russian occupiers, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.


As a result of the shelling of Kyiv on Wednesday evening, Russian munitions hit several private houses in the Podilskyi district.


Emergency services found the bodies of five victims, including three children, under the rubble of a residential building in Chernihiv after Russian artillery strikes. – State Emergency Service.

The casualties among civilians from February 24, 2022, when Russia started the war against Ukraine, to 24:00 on March 15, 2022 amounted to 1,900 civilians (+66 in comparison to the previous day), including 726 dead (+34), according to the Office of the UN High Commissioner on Human Rights on Wednesday.


Shooting of people in line for bread in Chernihiv: the death toll rose to 13. Dozens of people were injured. The chief of regional police Volodymyr Nidzelskyy reported about it.


Sarny, 90km north of Rivne: a few explosions were heard during the air raid siren. Sarny’s Mayor, Ruslan Serpeninov, reported a missile attack via his Facebook page, noting “no casualties so far”. The Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Kohan has confirmed the shelling.
