At night on January 7, Ukrainian defenders shot down 21 out of 28 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 drones used by Russian troops to attack different regions of Ukraine. In addition, Russian forces targeted the Donetsk region with three S-300 missiles. – Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine


In the last 24 hours, Russian troops attacked the Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions. At least 21 citizens were killed, and 28 more were injured. – Information from Regional Military Administrations


On January 6, Russian troops hit the Pokrovsk district in the Donetsk region with S-300 missiles. As a result, local residential buildings were damaged. Due to an enemy attack, at least eleven citizens were killed, including five children. – Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
