A Russian cruise missile was shot down near the Okhmatdit Children’s Specialized Hospital in Kyiv, reports the hospital’s press service. A Russian missile strike hit a gas line in Irpin (the Kyiv region), cutting off gas and heat to local residents.

The Russian ministry of defence announced that it’s preparing to shell Ukrainian defence industrial enterprises, as reported by the Russian state media RIA Novosti.

Eight civilians were killed in the evacuation of the town of Irpin, its mayor reported. He also refuted reports that the town is completely occupied by Russians.
