As of October 5, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated the settlements of Liubymivka, Khreshchenivka, Zolota Balka, Biliaivka, Ukrainka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Mala Oleksandrivka, and Davydiv Brid in the Kherson region. – Operational Command “South”


In the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 9 Russian UAVs (3 Orlan-10 drones and 6 Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136 used by Russian troops), an enemy 152-mm self-propelled howitzer “Msta-B”, an enemy S-300 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), and 4 Russian team sites in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions in the South of Ukraine. – Operational Command “South”


Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, 418 Ukrainian children have died, 787 children have been injured. Most victims among children are from the Donetsk region. – Prosecutor General’s Office


Total combat losses of Russian aggressors in Ukraine from 24 February to 5 October (approximation): 61000 troops; 2435 tanks; 5038 armored vehicles; 1414 artillery systems; 341 MLRS; 177 anti-aircraft warfare systems; 266 aircraft; 232 helicopters; 3841 military auto vehicles and fuel tanks; 15 military boats; 1032 tactical UAVs; 132 special military equipment; 246 cruise missiles. On February 14, 2024, Russia launched a missile strike at the maternity ward and a five-story residential building in Selydove, the Donetsk region. Due to an attack, 3 people were killed, including a child and a pregnant woman, and another 12 were injured.
