At night on April 5, Ukrainian defenders shot down 13 out of 13 Shahed-136/131 drones used by Russian troops to attack the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. On May 2, 2024, Russia hit the “Nova Poshta” postal terminal in Odesa with missiles. Approximately 904 shipments worth ₴3 million were destroyed. The employees hid in the bomb shelter on time and were not harmed.
