Yaroslav Lysenko, Global Teacher Prize Ukraine semifinalist, fights in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Yaroslav teaches the arts in a Kyiv school. In addition, he is an active participant in various social projects. Also, the man was a semi-finalist of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2021 — the national award for teachers who are changemakers in the educational system. But now he defends Ukraine with a weapon in his hand and at the same time continues to inspire his students.

“I see fantastic personalities among you: smart, stubborn, and extraordinary. Today I have a small request for you. Study relentlessly. Enjoy music, read about culture and literature, find great movies, and develop yourself. Relentlessly.” Yaroslav says, addressing the schoolchildren.
