Tour guide and owner of a cycling lodge Alice transports people abroad for free and returns with humanitarian aid

Alice Smyrna is a German philologist by education. In her native Perechyn region of the Zakarpattia region, she has been developing an estate for cyclists on the site of a former collective farm for several years. There are many foreigners among the visitors. With the start of the war, Alice’s life changed radically — her husband went to war for the second time in the 11 years of their marriage, and she decided to dedicate herself to volunteering.
Now the woman advises IDPs, conducts free tours, helps with settlement or border crossing, and transports humanitarian goods to Ukraine. In particular, she brought from Slovakia another batch of medicine for diabetics, which was purchased and transported by private plane to Kosice by German volunteers.
