Sniper “Ugolyok” (“Charcoal”) interrupted her vacation after 5 years of service in the Marines to defend Ukraine

The Ukrainian woman had once joined the army so that her younger brother, who also serves, would be proud of her. In 2017, the girl joined a Marine battalion. In the course of her service, she executed combat missions in eastern Ukraine, where some territories have been occupied by the Russian army for 8 years.

When the servicewoman’s contract expired in January, she decided to take a break. But not for long. Just a month later, the great war began. The brave sniper with the call sign “Ugolyok” took up arms again and returned to the Marines to defend Ukraine from the Russian occupiers.
