Singer Olena with a weapon in her hands defends her hometown of Zhytomyr

On the first day of the war, when Russia started bombing Ukraine’s regional centers, Olena, her husband, and their friends built checkpoints around Zhytomyr. They enlisted in the Territorial Defense Forces to help with medicines and organizing humanitarian aid. Now Olena has her own weapon and actively helps her unit.

She says that everyone’s morale is high because they stand for their homeland.
