Pensioner Mykola Hryhorovych donated all his savings to save the country

That is what Natalia, head of the local community in the Chernivtsi region, told us as Mykola himself is very humble.

Each hryvnia (local currency) saved by the man during his life was donated to help Ukraine in these complicated times. In total, Mykola donated 100,000 UAH and 10,000 USD to support the Ukrainian Army. For context, the average pension in Ukraine is around 4,000 UAH.
