Oleksandr, a developer, returned from England to Ukraine to document Russian war crimes with the help of his drone
Oleksandr Radzijhovskyi and his wife moved to London, eventually working at Amazon, building their careers, and raising 2 children. On February 24, when Oleksandr’s friends called and told him that Ukraine was being bombed, he decided to return to his motherland. The Senior DevOps Engineer calls his trip a sabbatical.
Oleksandr is not qualified for military service due to health issues. Using his jeep, he joined Kyiv’s territorial defense unit as a drone operator. Now he uses his technical knowledge and skills to record Russia’s war crimes. Oleksandr passes the recorded material on to journalists, who use it to tell the world the truth about the occupiers’ atrocities.
