Oleh, pediatric rehabilitation specialist and fourth generation Odesan, joined the volunteer military forces to defend his hometown.

Oleh knows his native Odesa or the sea pearl as it’s widely called like the back of his hand. He needs no map to find a monument or a place with the best local food. He has devoted his life to the rehabilitation of children. He has helped them return to normal life with physical activities and horseback riding.

When the first russian missiles hit peaceful Ukrainian cities, Oleh left his job and became a volunteer fighter for the Winter Campaign Knights 28th mechanized brigade.

Odesa is his home and the home of his ancestors. With a gun in his hands, he is ready to lay waste to russian occupants who want to take away his city.
