Mykyta defends his hometown Kyiv in the ranks of the Territorial Defense

On February 24-26, I had a large-scale photo shoot planned at the Ministry of Infrastructure. With the money earned, I wanted to buy my own combat gear.

In the last four days, we were given weapons and some armor—whatever was available. We are on patrol. 

When the war started in 2014, I didn’t have the balls to defend my country. But I made a promise to myself that if such shit happens — a full-scale invasion — then, no matter the cost, we are going to defend our country.
