Ivan Basyuk, IT specialist from Rivne region, returned from Spain to defend his homeland

He learned about the start of the war while in the Canary Islands. He had always dreamed of learning to operate a yacht and was living on board one already for a week. Together with his comrades, he returned to port, and then they flew from Madrid to Budapest. From there, people took them to the border via the highway. Two more trains to Ukraine—and a few days later Ivan was finally home.

The morning after his return, the young man went to the recruitment office, and in a few hours, he received a uniform and combat boots. Now Ivan dreams of becoming an anti-tank operator; he is ready to go to the hottest spots and waits to be called to war.
