Internationally acclaimed ethnographer Anna patrols the streets of Kyiv nonstop

Since the very first day of the war, Anna Senik has been safeguarding peace in the capital side by side with her comrades. She conducts reconnaissance activities, observing and patrolling the streets with a weapon in her hands. Even though she has never been armed before and hasn’t had any serious physical training, she works virtually round-the-clock. After all, this is her home district, where she was born and raised. It needs protection.
