In case she dies, Kyivan Sasha wrote contact information on her daughter’s back

In the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Vira Makoviy’s mother was afraid to lose her daughter or die herself. Before she left her house, the 33-year-old woman wrote her daughter’s first and last name, date of birth, and the cellphone numbers of her parents on the child’s back.

According to Sasha, she hoped that even if she dies and Vira will have no living relatives left, the girl will be able to find her mother’s profile on social media. In this way, she could see what her parents looked like. But luckily, the mother and her daughter managed to leave safely. Now they’ve been sheltered in France.
