Father and son from the Ternopil region defend Ukraine from the occupiers together

Volodymyr has been fighting in the eastern Ukraine since 2014 when Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula and started the fighting in Donbas. The man has been a part of the 128th Zakarpattia Mountain Assault Brigade for a year and a half. His son Mykola decided to fight with his father. He’s only 19 but he also wants to defend Ukraine. Mykola reworks the famous Ukrainian phrase “it’s easier to beat the father together,” saying “it’s easier to beat the enemy with the father.” Meanwhile, Volodymyr’s wife and their younger son and daughter are waiting for him at home.

Good luck in the fight, heroes!
