Cashier Lyudmyla remains in Kyiv despite the shelling and danger
When the full-scale Russian invasion began, Ludmyla Zubashych wanted to join the territorial defense. Then she realized that by just doing her job she could also provide important help. The supermarket faced staffing shortages, so the woman took on new responsibilities. To get to work now, she hitches a ride, takes a taxi, or rides a bike.
“I am just happy to have the opportunity to work. Great unity is felt both within the team and with customers. The motivation is crazy. My colleagues and I energize each other and we convey this mood to others, and this is the best thing that can come from the current situation.”
