84-year-old actress Ada Rohovtseva hosts the defenders at her place in Kyiv so they can shower, do laundry, and eat homemade food

When the war began, the family of the famous theater and movie actress did not remain on the sidelines. Her grandson and son-in-law enlisted, while her daughter and daughter-in-law volunteered to help the defenders. Meanwhile, Ada hosts local defenders; she lets them shower, takes their dirty clothes and returns them clean and dry, and prepares homemade food for them.

Sharing her thoughts, the woman says, “it’s very difficult for all of us to say anything right now. Short words won’t come out. Only hatred. Only the desire to restore justice. To bring truth to my Ukrainian land.”
