The cynicism and cruelty of the Russian occupiers knows no bounds. During an evacuation along an agreed “green” corridor, Russian soldiers attacked women and children. They targeted a column of civilians, consisting exclusively of women and children, while trying to evacuate from the village of Peremoha.
As a result of Russian shelling, seven people died, including one child. The exact number of wounded is still being determined.
After the brutal attack, the occupiers forced the remnants of the column to return to the village of Peremoha. It was almost impossible to contact the villagers and provide them with humanitarian or medical assistance until the Russians withdrew from the region on April 2.
