Russia launched a missile strike on a residential area in Kryvyi Rih
On June 12, the enemy attacked the residential infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, the Dnipropetrovsk region, with missiles.
As of 18.00, eight people were killed and 21 more were injured, including two children. Four more citizens are reported missing, informed Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Rescue workers are currently working on the scene: the debris removal is ongoing.
Update: As of 20.30, the death toll from the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih has risen to nine, with 29 more people wounded, including five children, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
Update: As of 7.30 June 30, search and rescue operation was finished. In total, nine people were killed and 32 more were injured, including five children, informed Oleksandr Vilkul, Head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih.
“Every day and every hour, Russian terror proves that Ukraine must strengthen its air defense with the support of our partners (…) Modern air defense systems can ensure maximum protection for our people, cities, and positions. We need them urgently,” commented President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on another Russia’s terrorist act.
Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was started on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
