Russia hit the Dnipro suburbs, killing a child

On the evening of June 3, Russian forces targeted the Pidhorodnenska territorial community in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack caused destruction and casualties among civilians.
According to Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, 25 people were injured, including 5 children. Twelve more people were hospitalized, with one woman in critical condition. A two-year-old girl named Liza Prykhodko was killed – her body was found by rescuers under the rubble of a destroyed building.
The attack partially destroyed two two-story buildings as they were hit by a Russian missile. In addition, ten private houses, a car, a store, gas pipelines, and a local rescue unit’s building were damaged. The rescue and search operations have concluded.




On June 4, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk visited the site of the Russian missile attack.
“On the day when Ukrainians honor the memory of the killed children, the enemy continues to take the lives of little Ukrainians. I express my condolences to the family of the killed Liza. We will do everything in our power to ensure that those responsible for each death are punished,” stated Iryna Vereshchuk.
As of June 6, 2023, Russian invaders have killed 485 Ukrainian children and injured 1,005. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, due to Russian military aggression, 17 children have been killed, and another 70 have been injured.
