Rocket attack on Serhiivka, Odesa. Rockets hit a high-rise building and a recreation center

On July 1, Russia launched a rocket attack on Odesa region around one o’clock in the morning.
A residential high-rise building was severely damaged by one rocket: one section was practically destroyed. 17 people died in the building, and 37 were injured, including 6 children.

The other two rockets hit the buildings of recreation centers. Four people died and one was injured.

The head of the region, Maksym Marchenko, specified that 38 people were hospitalized, including six children and a pregnant woman. Eight people were rescued from the rubble, including three children.
Update. As of July 7, the number of killed victims has increased to 22 people. A 53-year-old recreation center employee who was injured during the Russian missile attack on Serhiivka died in the hospital, Serhii Bratchuk, Spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported.

The village of Serhiivka is a famous seaside resort near Zatoka, Odesa. Usually, summer is the best time for Ukrainians to relax on the sea coast. After the Russian invasion, this place became a target for missile strikes.
