Five-storey building damaged in the Russian hit on residential area of Kryvyi Rih
On the night of June 13, Russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Apartment buildings and private houses, a private company, a car company and several cars were significantly damaged. The massive fire broke out in the five-storey apartment building.
As of 10 a.m. Kyiv time, it was reported about 6 people killed and 25 injured. Search and rescue operations continue, and there might be more victims under the rubble of the residential building and the warehouse.
As a result of a missile attack, 10 people died, and one is still under the rubble, reported Oleksandr Vilkul, Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council. 28 people were wounded, of which 12 are in the city hospitals. Later, Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, added that another dead person’s body was found under the rubble of a destroyed private enterprise. The amount of injured victims has increased to 36 people. Search and rescue operations were finished.
Update: As of June 15, there are already 13 dead victims of a Russian missile strike. One more person died at the hospital of received burns.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office launched a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
On the night of June 13, Russia launched yet another massive missile attack on Ukraine from strategic bombers Tu-95MS from the Caspian Sea. 11 out of 14 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 1 out of 4 Shahed-136/131 drones were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence force.
